Back at it

After my first week back to working out at crossfit...
modified mini wods - kicked my ass!
My legs are cashed, my abs are cashed.
I needed to get back at it. Everyone is so encouraging. I know I will improve and get back to my former fit self and form. The frustration of not being able to participate since July 2009 has been excrutiating. Somehow Tim has put up with me. He is so supportive and helps me to know that it will get better.
I can feel the changes happening already to my body again. Even though I am only one week into it, I feel a change in my mental game.
Turn this starting over again into another chance to become healthier. I know I can do this . . .
I have done this before . . .
I am going to do it, better this time. I will use this as a learning experience.
I have learned how to listen to my body, be prepared to take rest days, be conscious of my abilities and shortcomings, take time to heal, get enough rest, eat my paleo foods, get hungry to go after it again. The thing I already know is that it is doable. I have the know how. I can be that person again.

Cheatin and Eatin

Yesterday was a cheat day. Last one. Pizza from Lou's. Tasted great - - paid for it today. Upset stomache!
Today's meal:
One large Diet Coke (still can't eliminate it)
Large spinach salad w/red peppers, avocado, walnuts, radishes, tomatoes, small amount of cheese, apple. Water.
No breakfast - bad. Had no time or food available.
